Mad Mel Part Two - Told ya so

I knew it, I knew it I knew it.

Ok here's the latest on the whole Mel Gibson leaked recording fiasco that has been on every entertainment program every day for the last year, at least it feels like it.

So the latest is apparently that Mel's Ex wife Robyn is saying that Mel was never like that with her and she stands by him.  Also Gibson's lawyers are saying that there is hard evidence that exists that Oksana tried to extort 10 million simolians from Mel.  Also there is a picture that was "leaked" to Radar Online (translation, she thought she wasn't getting the attention that she wanted to she sent it to the media, but is denying it) of Oksana with broken teeth that looks more like a dentist's before picture than a photo of an abuse victim. Looks to me like I see a little hint of a smile, abuse victims don't smile for photographs.  but People who are about to get their gnarly teeth fixed by a Beverly Hills Cosmetic Dentist do. Very Suspicious to me.check it out

You can also check out this GREAT ARTICLE that has a very similar take on the whole thing. So I guess we'll see how this whole thing will unfold over the coming days, weeks, months.I still stand by my "she's a lying moneygrabbing whorebag who is just trying to make a name for herself by smearing and creating audio evidence of abuse by Mel Gibson.  I will be laughing so hard when this she-devil gets arrested for extortion and it's discovered she engineered the entire thing.  Can you say HOAX

Stupidity of the Average Consumer

41956-hi-HandDispenser-248x300.jpgOk...I can’t believe this

They are now selling Hands free soap dispensers in the supermarkets.  I just saw one of these things yesterday that was available to purchase.  How stupid are people that they would buy this product.  Let me explain

Prevention magazine reported that hand soap dispensers are one of the top 10 worst places that bacteria grow.  And they recommend that you scrub more vigorously and even use alcohol based hand sanitizers afterwards to battle this.

I’m not sure but am I the only one who sees this for what it is...pure crap.  Yes true..dirty hands touch soap dispensers all the time so they leave behind bacteria and germs for the next person.  But think about it.  After you touch the soap dispenser what do you do...YOU WASH YOUR HANDS, effectively eliminating any germs and bacterial you may have picked up along the way.  That dispenser could be caked with poop and baby snot and you would still have clean hands after you finished.  Is the average consumer that dumb that they don’t realize this??

As an aside, I played baseball last night for the first time in 2 years...I hurt today
I’m not liking where the next couple of days are headingL

End to Video Game Demos?

As a pretty avid video game player this is a pretty crummy thing.  It appears that some of powers that be at various video game publishers are saying that “A free demo is a luxury we have in the game industry that we don’t have in other industries such as film.”....ummmm huh??  I guess these video game guys spend too much time in front of their graphics programs and have never seen a movie trailer.  Video game demos, for me, are an essential part of the VG purchasing process and they should, no, must continue.  Video games are expensive, especially to people younger than me who hold down "McJobs" getting paid minimum wage and put every last penny away so they can buy the latest and greatest.  These are big purchases for these kids, and would I, as an adult, buy a TV or car without giving it a test drive first? or at very least read stats/specs/reviews online?  That answer is a resounding NO!!  Good or bad, game demos allow us the consumer to separate the few games that are gold from the literally hundreds of polished turds out there passing themselves off as video game magic.  I mean, look at all the video game adaptations of movies there has been...not many worth mentioning are there?  I would say that the act of these VG houses trying to do away with  demos is a subtle way of trying to stop the consumer from getting a sneak peak and thus making us buy crappy games that will just get traded in next time we visit our local EB Games or Blockbuster store.  Just my 2 Cents.

Oh and here's the Link to the article that spawned this post
